In my job as a motorcycle mechanic I often encounter motorcycles that have their oil filter mounted over the exhaust pipes. A strange design, and it is always a messy job to remove the filter. With the hands on a 3d printer, I came up with the idea to create a catcher box that can be put over the (cold) exhaust and catch the oil and reroute it so I can catch it in the oil pan.
The design is simple :
Printed it in ABS and soon had a bike to test it on, and it works great.
I probably are going to make several versions of this solution, as most likely some other bikes need a different type/size or formed one.
